Feva Grand Prix 1 - Itchenor 16th & 17th September
Four Bosham boats braved a weekend of two halves in Itchenor. Saturday proved tricky with fickle winds coupled with strong tides. The race team set a challenging course with only metres between the windward mark and the shore in an ebbing tide creating some interesting antics. In contrast Sunday was windy and stormy and the racing was unfortunately stopped after just one race due to the impressive lightning on the course. There was good

Xtremity Bosham Sailing Club Optimist Open - 17th September 2023
100 Optimists spread across the regatta fleet and main fleet arrived ready for a 4 race series making their way out in a blustery breeze gusting 23 knots in the harbour. Due to the easterly direction the main fleet course was set in the Gallon Reach so wasn't too far from base camp. BSC Cruiser Racing Weekend
This year's BSC Cruiser Racing Weekend was very much an event of two halves. Saturday's race to No Man's Land Fort was held in a gentle Easterly/South Easterly breeze that carried the 14 strong fleet down with the tide to a rather challenging rounding of the fort. BSC Mill Wheel Project Update
We have now received both of the feasibility studies that we commissioned into our mill wheel restoration and micro-hydro power project. These were undertaken by two postgraduate students at the universities of Southampton and Cardiff and submitted as dissertations for consideration for their respective Masters degrees. Both were highly commended by their supervisors for the ir projects. They are to be congratulated for the in depth research they undertook, working closely with our project

Bosham Regatta 2023
