‘MIMIC’ Chichester Scow No 1

MIMIC is one of the original three wooden built Chichester Scows. They were built by Flight Marine at the beginning of the 1990’s and formed the moulds from which all the subsequent fibreglass CS dinghies have been built. She is built from cedar strip and finished with epoxy, making her maintenance easy. For anyone wanting a piece of history and/or having preference for a wooden dinghy Mimic has enormous appeal. She is in excellent, even superb, condition and is very attractive. Throughout her life she has been lightly used.

The mast is wood as are the spars, spare spars, and sails are included. The balance lug-sails available are the original, a deep red?brown sail and a more recent modern white sail with window by BattSails of Bosham. She is complete with all necessary equipment and ready to sail. She has a launching trolley but no trailer. The cover is in good condition.

Sailed till 2018 as part of the Bosham Scow Fleet. Dry stored at home.
