Description
Anomaly is a very apt name for this one-off IOR racing yacht designed by Ed Dubois and built on the Clyde by the McKinnon Shipyard in 1980. She was built in coldmoulded wood veneers.
The yacht was regularly raced and, gradually over time, much of the vessels hardware was either replaced or upgraded in order to maintain the yachts competitive potential.
This boat was surveyed in 2020 with this concluding comments: The yacht is strongly constructed with no evidence of any structural issues and her epoxy and varnish finishes have been professionally maintained to the highest standards. Her immaculate cosmetic and structural condition is also testament to her current and previous owners who have spared no expense in maintaining and preserving such a rare forty-year old classic yacht.
She is truly a one off boat hence the name Anomaly so grab yourself a piece of racing history.
